I am a Gemini (May 22-June21). Gemini is represented by the twins.

BASICS
Good traits of Geminis: Adaptable, versatile, communicative, witty, intellectual, eloquent, youthful, and lively.
ADAPTABLE: Hardly. I have to be eased into new situations, especially those with any level of stress. VERSATILE: Defintely. I don't do anything particularly well, but I am decent at numerous activities. COMMUNICATIVE: I have trouble making myself understood, and don't really enjoy talking to most people. WITTY: I wouldn't say so. INTELLECTUAL: I enjoy learning, does that count as intellectual? ELOQUENT: No. I'm crude, clumsy, and awkward. YOUTHFUL: Well, as most of my friends make fun of me for being young or naive... LIVELY: I don't think so. I'm rather quiet and a couch potato.

Bad traits of Geminis: Nervous, tense, superficial and inconsistent, cunning and inquisitive.
NERVOUS: YES. I'm prone to panic attacks when over stressed, and have trouble dealing with assertive people. TENSE: Of course. When I kick into high mode to get things done, I become almost unbearable to deal with. SUPERFICIAL: I really don't think so. I'm picky about the people I choose to be around, but I just have high standards for my company. INCONSISTENT: Of course. My tastes, feelings, and ideals change every five seconds. So does my mind. CUNNING: Perhaps. *shrug* INQUISITIVE: Nosy? Hell yes.

Cocktail for Geminis: Angel's Tit (a Pousse Cafe)

How Gemini Got its name
Gemini - "Gemini" is the Latin translation of the Greek Didymoi, "the Twins." Many potential candidates were suggested as Gemini's original twins, but many ancient sources attribute them to being Castor and Pollux.

In the most often told story, Pollux and Castor were twin brothers. They were the twin sons of a mortal woman Leda – however they had different fathers. Pollux was a son of the chief Olympian god Zeus, and thus Pollux was immortal and would live forever. Castor was the son of a mortal man, and he could die. Their love and devotion for one another was legendary, and they never separated from one another.

The two brothers, Pollux and Castor, took part in many adventures (they were involved in the Jason and Argonauts Golden Fleece thing). One day in battle, Castor (the mortal brother) was about to die. So Pollux asked his father, Zeus, for the permission to die along side of Castor. It was Pollux's great desire that the brothers might remain united even in death. Instead of allowing Pollux to die, Zeus decided the two brothers would now share in the immortality of Pollux and remain together forever. However, in order for this to happen, Pollux and Castor would have to forever alternate between the light and the dark. For the rest of eternity, the brothers would spend one day on Olympus and then the next day in Hades.
