(look at her compared to me)
She was due March 24, but came on March 25 at 3:32PM after 2 hours of pushing, 8 hours of OFFICIAL labor, one shot of morphine, a tuinal, and finally an epidural. She weighed 7 lbs. 12.45 ozs, and was 19 inches long.

Dream: To be allowed outside free reign, or to go to Oz.

ABOUT THE PREGNANCY:
*I gained a whoppping 60 something pounds.
*As of April 20, 2005, I've fluctuated, lost 43 of those pounds.
*My worst pregnancy 'symptoms' were heartburn, nausea, back pain, and baby feet in my ribs.
*My weirdest pregnancy 'symptoms' were a peeling nose, prenatal carpal tunnel (I think it's weird) and severe hiccups right before I fell asleep.
*My cravings: Watermelon, KFC chicken, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, french fries, potato chips, baked potatoes (the doc said potato cravings are from a lack of iron), Tostadas covered with sour cream, Burger King Whoppers, salty green beans with bacon bits, all kinds of beans, Pizza Hut supreme pizzas, Papa John's pepperoni pizzas, milk, and once I ate a zesty dill pickle/mayo/lettuce/swisscheese sandwich.
*My Aversions: Most sweet foods, most meats except for chicken and hamburgers, all sodas but root beer, pepsi, and clear sodas, cheese popcorn (the first trimester I craved it), roast beef, and I simply COULD NOT stand the smell of cooking turkey. Thanksgiving made me nauseous.
*Interesting Date-related facts: I was due March 24, if I had the baby 1 day early, on the 23rd, It would have been on my doctor's birthday. If I had her 7 days early, it would have been on St. Patrick's Day. If I had her 20 days early, it would've been on my father's birthday, 28 days early, it wouldn've been on my grandfather's. If I had her 8 days late, it would have been on April Fool's Day (THAT WOULD SUCK!). If I had her 9 days late, it would've been on my friend Amanda's birthday. (UPDATE: Her second cousin, Emma Jo was born on her second birthday, around 8pm!)
*I was so tired of having 'false labor' contractions, (I started them March 8 and continuted until she was born, every day) that I tried every way to induce myself. The thing that finally worked, March 24 that morning Mom, Jenn and I went for a walk around the zoo. We left around noon. That night, around 11pm, I was in real labor.
ABOUT MCKENZIE:
*She has a 'stork bite' birthmark on her right eyelid. Her father had one too.
*She has lazy eyes, like her father, and has had a corrective eye muscle surgery, and may have to have another in the future.
*She didn't like fruit. We had to hide it in her cereal. Now she will sometimes eat apples, she loves bannanas (Nanas) but will chew up oranges and spit them out. Ew.
*She took her first step April 28, 2003. Since then she has taken fifteen million steps in my presence. Usually at a run.
*Interesting things she said/says: She calls me Mama and her grandma rhonda Mahmo (VERY small difference, can't seem to change this) and her great grandma Margaret Oma. She calls her grandpa Tony Pawpaw, her grandpa Jim PawPaw Dim (now she can say Jim), her Grandpa Jeff Pawpaw jeft (now she can say jefffff), She used to call her Uncle Mike Miiiie, but now she says it clearly... uncah MiKE!, the dog Shadow she called Shao (usually pronounced SHA-oooooooo, now she says shadow.) she calls Nemo (the fish) Momo, even now, and these are random animals she said when she was little: "yine","lie", or "line" for Lion, "Fiths" or "fissss" for Fish, "Hohsey" for Horsey, "Dock" or "Oggy" for Dog, "Kaaa" or "Kie" for cat, "doat" for goat (I think she thinks they're like screwed up dogs) She says Boo-Gah for Burger, and she loves to say cheeeeese. She says fee-fee for sippy . She can SAY sippy. she just calls it feefee.
*Other cute things she says/Does: Her first real word that was completely understandable: Baby. She loves Babies. Occasionally she said "Die, Die" for byebye. And waved towards herself. She flirts with men already. Watch her, I'm serious. She said "tahnkoo" for thank you. I think this is SO cute and I know no one else cares. She said bafff, (bath... don't say bath in her presence unless you're willing to give her one. On punishment of screech.) She has her own Barbie phone (pone... maybe she could read and the PH confused her. ^.^) and when it rings (Don't buy it... the off button is a lie, it comes back on by itself, you have to leave the damn thing off the hook.) she picked it up, said heio, uyuh, *insert senseless babble* then says key, die die (kay, byebye) and hangs up. March 26th, '04 she said her first sentance, I gave her the phone and let her talk to her Grandma Margaret, and she said "Heyio? How is you doooin?" very clearly, it shocked us all.
*By April '04 she can point to her eyes (eiiiiiyeee) nose (dose) mouth (wouth, always said with her finger half way down her throat, now she says mouse kinda...) tongue (tun) chin (shin) cheeks (we never say cheeks. we call them Chubbiecheeks. She calls them chuyee chee, actually... She could prolly speak japanese if I taught her.) Hair (Hhhhhayer) Lips (her Shhh!s) belly button (beybu-on, I just had a laproscopic surgery to remove my gallbladder, and I have stitches in my belly button. There's a bandaid over it, and my other three incisions. She jumped on my belly the first day (OW!) and I showed her my bandaids. I told her it was an Owwie. She looked at me with a hurt, sympathetic face and said, "Huwts? Ouchie." it was so cute!) Knees, (ees) toes (toes! YAY!) arms (harms) fingers (fings... I guess she thinks they're not fingers cuz they don't fing yet... I'm soooo funny) and eye brows. She won't say eyebrows. She has her father's goofy ears, it took us forever to teach her where they were. Now she'll say eahs and point to them, and occasionally when she remembers she has earrings (peirced her ears March 10th, 2004) She lightly pulls on one and says "Stuck!"
*Her Family: considering how many grandmas and grandpas she has now, no wonder she has little tiny subtleties in her speech to tell us all apart. She has 3 grandmas that she has met, my mom, my grandma Margaret, and her Grandma Carol (JJ's stepmom, she just met her on her second birthday though.) She has 4 grandpas that she has met. My father, my stepfather, my grandfather, and JJ's dad Jeff. She has 4 cousins that she has met, (all that I know of) my brother Randy's two kids Dustin (who lives with his mom here in Wichita) and Christiana (who lives with my grandparents in Newport, Arkansas.) and my brother Mike's two kids, Julie and Michelle, who both live in Washington (we went up there to visit.) She has one second cousin, Julie's little girl Emma Jo. She has a bunch of cousins on my dad's side that I'm not sure how EXACTLY they're related. She has three uncles she has met (My brothers Mike, Randy, and Jimmy) and two that she hasn't yet (JJ's brothers Chris and Zach.) Technically she has a step-aunt and step-uncle, my stepsister and stepbrother, but I haven't seen them for a LONG time.
