History:
When Katsu was born, the doctor at first thought she couldn't breathe-- no sound was emitting from her little mouth. After checking her over, they could not find anything physically wrong with her, yet still she remained silent. Over the years her parents sent her to the best doctors and psychologists, and though they all had their theories, all had a flaw. Most of them thought Katsu was mentally handicapped, but when she went to the Juku School for the Impaired, she learned faster than all the children her age, and bonded deeply with her student-teacher Kiji, who was three years older than she. One of the reasons for the bond was that Kiji seemed to know what Katsu was thinking before she articulated it--whether with gestures, signing, or her most-used form of communication, a tiny notepad on a necklace.
Katsu wasn't totally happy at the School. She had a tendency to get stir-crazy and wandered off for days at a time. Because she was a good student and kept up with her schoolwork, her teachers didn't say boo. Finally Kiji suggested joining a class outside of school. Katsu agreed, but after many disasterous failed attempts at pottery, dance, and Tae-Bo, she stopped her search.
A month went by and she got more distant than ever, and on one of her wanderings, she happened upon a rather disturbed man, who whistled at her as she walked past, and then followed her, jeering. Katsu walked faster, glancing back over her shoulder, the man closer with each peek. As her fear escalated, her heart pounding in her ears, she began to sprint, a pub visible just blocks ahead. Before she could get too far, a big, meaty hand grabbed her arm and wheeled her around, and her terror crescendoed and mutated into a rage. She a narrowed her eyes at him, the sudden change in emotion making him take a tiny, tentative step back. A ball of violet-grey energy grew between and in front of her eyes, then it shot out in a bolt at him, exploding as it contacted with his... lap. Katsu jerked away and ran to the pub, getting the tender to call Kiji for her.
Kiji took Katsu to the Senshi, telling them what happened to her, and she entered training. She had found her niche.
When she turned 17 she started having frequent severe migraines, and they found a small brain tumor which they removed. Afterwards, she suffered infrequent seizures which are dampered with medications. When she heard Pluto's call to arms, Katsu immediately volunteered, to strengthen herself as well as help her Queen. Before she left, Kiji bought her Shadow, a dog trained to warn her before she had a seizure. The dog had a note in his collar, simply saying he hoped the dog would help her feel less lonely.

Warrior
Name(s): Sailor Shinkan (silence)
Affiliation: Senshi

Physical Description:
Her hair, if not already braided into pigtails, becomes so, with a small gold bead at the bottom of each. Her tiara and her choker are matching simple gold bands with her amethyst in the center, her brooch a simple gold heart with an amethyst inlaid. Her collar and skirt are sugar pink, the collar has a roughstitched white border on it, and the skirt doesn't have any folds. The bodysuit of her fuku is actually a sleeveless baby Tee with lavender trim. Her bows are both lavender, and they're thick and have short excess ribbon. Her gloves are white with lavender trim, they reach the middle of her bicep, her white low-heel boots reach just below her knee and are also trimmed in lavender. Her dagger is kept in a leather halter on her right thigh.

Symbol: A princess-cut amethyst
Transformation: She touches the amethyst in her pen and is silouhetted in light lavender light, and as the light fades her clothes transform into her fuku.

Powers:
1. Psychic Ability: Her psychic power, which she can't use by choice, she sees mostly the past but on occasion hints of the future, always through one sense (in example, smelling smoke before a fire, hearing screams after a murder, et cetera), this is a civilian power, however it is more defined when it comes to her in Senshi form. Depending on how much is revealed to her, it weakens her physical form, but increases her ability to use magic for a short time. She can try to 'help it along' by touching an object or person especially when she touches the amethyst on her tiara at the same time, and a person can shield this power when she touches them by using a telepathic shield.

2. Silence Dawn: She places three fingers on the amethyst of her brooch, a ball of violet-grey energy growing there as she gives it more power, then it shoots out in a bolt of energy at one enemy, causing light-element explosive damage. This can be blocked by higher-powered energy blocks, and drains her in purportion to the energy she puts in it, and she only uses it if she's trying to protect herself or her allies.

3. Silence Dusk: She touches the amethyst on her choker, closing her eyes, and a cloudy light forms above the finger on her amethyst, she points at a single ally, and sends the energy at the ally. This causes a numb feeling so the ally doesn't feel any physical damage they might have had as thoroughly, and causes their adrenaline to almost double, which makes them feel more powerful, and gives them more energy. This power reduces her own magic resources, but leaves her with more feeling more energetic (feeling, anyway) as well. This generally lasts up to twenty minutes, when the numbness and adrenaline boost go away, the ally feels tingly and a little light-headed. She can only use this once per battle (assuming the battles aren't coming back to back, let's be optimistic, shall we?) unless she is healed somehow in between.

4. Telepathy: A civillian power, she can communicate with people nearby as a civillian; if they have any telepathic ability. When in senshi form, she can speak to non-telepaths with this, although with some people it's harder to get through, especially with stubborn non-believers and crazy people, because crazy people can't distinguish hers from the other voices in their head. '_-

Weapons: A dagger, but it's mainly for looks, and cleaning out from under her nails.
Items: The amethyst in her pen that is attatched to her notepad helps her transform
Strengths / Weaknesses: Her psychic abilities can leave her disoriented to the point of fainting, and the majority of her power lies in her defense. She is quick on her feet, and has a foresight for the enemy's next move, which is helpful in both physical and magic battle

Slogan: none... or, mebbe... *GLARE*
Other titles: The Silent Senshi
